Andrew Kareckas will outline the current and near-future landscape of government funding of the energy and decarbonization initiatives. In this session he will cover: (1) broader Landscape (e.g. US IRA, European Green Deal and how they shaped our package); (2) overview of Incentives Structure (e.g. how the programs and governing bodies fit together); (3) overview of new Investment Tax Credits (ITCs) - the major programs from the federal budget; (4) drill down on 1 ITC that will be relevant and will be final this fall; (5) overview of other complimentary incentives and (6) A Call to Action.

In his focus on the ITC upcoming this fall Andrew will detail how it works, how much you get, how to prepare and what is the role of Deloitte.

ANDREW KARECKAS is Partner - Tax & Legal at Deloitte. Prior to this role he's been the Executive Vice President, then the Chief Executive Offices at Easly, which he transformed from a $9M company to a $100M organization and cemented the company reputation as a go-to brand in government asset lending. He accomplished that following his vision to change the way companies think about and use SR&ED, Grant and ITC funds, helping to accelerate funding to provide better cash flow and additional working capital. His past involvements include InVue (Country Manager - Canada), BDM (Sales, Operations, Business Development and Marketing) and TELUS (Business to Business Sales).
